デンマークの著名な銀細工職人、ジョージ・ジェンセンの長男。ミュンヘンで訓練を受けた後、1914年に父の工房で活動を開始。スウェーデンで独立後、1936年に再びGeorg Jensen社に戻り、1962年に引退するまで活躍しました。装飾的な初期デザインから、後年は機能的でモダンなスタイルへと進化。シンプルで洗練された作品はデンマークや国際的な美術館で展示されるなど世界的に評価されています。
